Mark a cylinder

Q: a 10L cylinder, marked at 2L, could you mark all other integer marks with only water?

A: with only water, we measure X/2, while X is known, and (X+y)/2, while X and Y is known, by tilting the cylinder

we can get:
5L = 10L/2;
1L = 2L/2;
3L = (1L+5L)/2;
4L = (3L+8L)/2;
6L = (2L + 10L)/2;
7L = (4L + 10L)/2;
8L = (6L + 10L)/2;
9L = (8L + 10L)/2;
